Seminars

 CICMA and the Montreal number theory group run several activities. These include seminars, such as the world-famous Quebec-Vermont Number Theory Seminar, conferences, workshops and thematic semesters that bring to Montreal leading researchers from all over the world.

 The Quebec-Vermont Number Theory Seminar

The Quebec-Vermont Number Theory Seminar (or QVNTS, for short) was founded in 1983 and is the longest continuously running seminar of its kind in North America.

It meets every other week, on Thursdays. Typically the first lecture will be from 10:30am to 12:00pm on the 11th floor of Burnside Hall, McGill, and second one from 2:30pm to 4:00pm on the 9th floor of the Library Building, Concordia.

 The Mobius ANT

This is a local seminar for students and postdocs, to share ideas and to develop skills in presenting to an audience.
